Scott Stinson and crew fished for 8 hours and went 19 for 23 on brown trout out of Oswego aboard Rise up.This was Steave’s Bachilor party all aboard had a great time. A great tip from Team Gray Fox helped make the day even better. Scott and the gentlemen of this crew are some of America’s finest out of Fort Drum NY. 3 out of 4 are going to Iraq later this summer and deserve all of our prayers for helping fight the good fight.

Bill pep and crew showed up early. Early was great because bad weather was on it’s way starting sat May 10. On Friday the 9th we went 9 for 14. We started out fast and furious early then we had a high bluebird sky with no clouds and the fishing slowed down. It was extremely hot for this time of year and one of the boys had the Irish flew so we Quit at 2:30.

Bill Pep and crew again. Started out fast until sun got up high then it slowed down. Moved out in front of 9-mile caught a few more browns dropped a salmon 40 ft behind boat. Ended up 8 for 14 by the time the bad weather moved in. about 1:30 in the afternoon we went from flat to 3-4 foot wave in 45 min. . Picked up and ran in by the time we hit the harbor wave were 5-6 feet. We had a great time with these folks. All the fish caught were released. They were there just to have fun. At 8:30 in the eve went to harbor to see how big the waves were WOW very impressive. Supposedly 13-18ft waves happened overnight.

Fished on Otsego lake aboard Murphy’s Law with Don Provost, son Donny, Don’s best friend John, and his son T.J. It was a cool, windy and sometimes rainy day but the fishing was good. We went 15 for 19 on lakers landed two big ones 9.5 and 8.4 lbs. We also lost a couple of big ones at the back of the boat. We also had one little brown that never released (it was about 6 inches) this little brown got whacked three times by what was probably a big laker. This fish was not counted in our tally. Fun was had by all despite the weather.

Today we went to a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Foundation at the Vernon National Shooting Preserve. Almost all of the proceeds from this event go to the foundation. It was our Honor (and duty) to be asked to donate a trip on Otsego Lake and to participate in this event. This was a sporting clays shoot, We had never been to this type of event before, but plan to be at more in the future. The event attracted people from all over New York State and as far away as Saint Lewis Mo. The organizers put on a first rate event, the food was great, the facility was awesome, and everyone there was very aware of the mission of this event. There was nothing but smiles and positive words throughout the day. Three M Outdoor Adventures LLC would like to thank all of the organizer, volunteers, sponsors, and donors to this event. We will definitely be participating in this event annually. Special thanks to Jeff Flansburg from Adirondack Outfitters for turning us on to this event.
